HISTORIC PRESS CONFERNCE ON INTERNATIONAL FREE SPEECH AND THE THREAT OF RADICAL ISLAM FEATURING DUTCH PARLIAMENTARIAN GEERT WILDERS AND BRITISH LORD MALCOLM PEARSON SPEAKERS WILL ADDRESS PUBLIC ATTACK AGAINST FLORIDA HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER REP. ADAM HASNER BY COUNCIL ON AMERICAN-ISLAMIC RELATIONS BOCA RATON, FL, APRIL 28, 2009: A group including prominent Dutch parliamentarian and a member of the British House of Lords will be addressing the threat to free speech from radical Islam and the public attack this week of Florida House Majority Leader Rep. Adam Hasner by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). This will be the first joint US appearance of both Wilders and Lord Pearson. Pearson had invited Wilders to screen his controversial documentary, Fitna, in the House of Lords this past February, but Wilders was refused entry into the UK after Home Secretary Jacqui Smith determined that his presence would constitute a national security threat. All of the speakers at tomorrow’s press conference will be addressing the Free Speech Summit sponsored by the Florida Security Council held this evening in Boca Raton.
