24 children, from all of the United Kingdom and Europe, attend a one week summer camp, and that's enough for you to spout "Chicken Little" mantras that the end is near? Let's see: how many children throughout the UK are attending weekly religious summer camps? My children have attended two Camp Quest summer camps in the US, and one year, they were two of eight children for the week long camp, and another year, two of 24. This year, they might be with 14 children for an entire week. Sound the alarm bells. For one week, my children get to hang out with other children being raised by non-believing parents and have an opportunity to discuss issues without parents around. For the other 51 weeks each year, they quietly sit back and watch the religious families around them at school and the neighborhood.
